extends Object

Brings a provider's models into line with what it actually offers: fetch, apply the admin's rules, resolve capabilities, match what already exists, write.

There is no preview step, so what gets written is the whole safety story. A model is created from the family's rules, and afterwards only values the provider itself reports are refreshed. A rule set is a guess; re-applying it on every sync would silently undo an administrator who corrected it.
