Sales Channel: Loyalty & Global Discount

The Loyalty feature is specific to the Sales Channel module.

The Loyalty feature is activated in the Sales Channel module.

Open the application and activate loyalty in the “Activate Loyalty” field.

A new Sales Channel tab will appear on the sale quotation.

Configure Loyalty

The Loyalty feature is specific to the Sales Channel module.

Access: Application Config → Apps management → Sales Channels, configure → enable loyalty in the “Enable loyalty” field

Once the Sales Channels module is installed, you can define the object on which the loyalty feature should be enabled.

  1. Open the application and enable loyalty in the “Enable Loyalty” field. Select from:
  • On the sale order;

  • On the invoice.

When loyalty is activated, the global discount feature is automatically activated.

  1. Next, you need to configure:
  • Loyalty accounts managed on: select Loyalty account management (by Partner or by Company);

  • The point acquiring delay: indicate the point acquisition period (order confirmation or invoice breakdown); These are saved points that will be credited to the defined partner account

  • Point validity period: the validity period of the points (at the end of this period, any points that were not used during the rolling period, will be debited).

  1. Sales channel configuration: click on the relevant company to configure loyalty offers and loyalty codes.

  2. Loyalty offers: select a product. When you add a product, you can configure the following information:

  • Application condition (e.g., product).

  • Select the product itself (e.g., a hard drive).

  • Active: check the box to activate the offer.

  • Reference period: enter the reference period. For example, “always active.”

  • Value: enter the value.

  • Gain: enter the earnings.

  1. Loyalty codes: add a loyalty code.
  • Scale: enter the scale if you want to apply special conditions.

  • Value: enter the value, for example, 10. This means that the discount will be 10%.

Activate the loyalty account

Access: Application config → Referential → Partners → on the file, open the Customer tab → click on + on the Loyalty account → the “Loyalty account” insert will appear in the panel to the right of a quote/order/invoice

The Loyalty Account box will contain the partner's current balance.

Earning loyalty points

Define how loyalty points are earned:

  1. Either on all items.

  2. Or on a category of items.

  3. Or on a specific item.

You can specify the conversion you want.

That is, the conversion between the amount and the number of points.

As a result, it becomes possible to earn points.

How do you earn points?

  1. Use a partner with an activated Loyalty account.

  2. You need a product to which you have applied the earning condition (as mentioned above, this can be all items / a category of items / a specific item).

Priority rule: a priority rule has been put in place with regard to the acquisition of points. For example: a hard drive is on sale (so it is covered by the loyalty account). This promotion, which is linked to the loyalty account, will take priority (other promotions will not be taken into account).

Loyalty account: at the order or invoice level (in Confirmed / Ventilated status), in the Loyalty account section, you will find the number of points that will be credited during the next batch.

Batch processing allows points to be debited and credited in accordance with the rules defined in the loyalty configuration.

Using loyalty points - loyalty codes

How are loyalty points used?

  • Either directly at the order level (via the global discount).

  • Or with the loyalty code (it is necessary to configure the loyalty codes in the Sales Channel application). Loyalty codes can be applied to an order or an invoice.

Configure the following information:

  1. Code: enter a code that will appear on the order/invoice.

  2. Scale: amount required on the order/invoice to use the loyalty code. Otherwise, the code will not work.

  3. Value: enter the desired value of the loyalty code (select between an amount or a percentage).

  4. Date of expiration: enter an expiration date. After this date, the loyalty code will no longer be valid.

  5. Spending method: enter a spending method (amount or percentage).

  6. Required points: enter the number of points required in the customer account to use the loyalty code.

An example:

Access: Sales → Sale quotation

  1. Configure the loyalty account on the partner's file (see previous instructions).

  2. Open a sale quotation and add an order line (Contents tab, Detail lines table).

  3. Global discount: in the “Global discount” box on the right, select the type of discount. For example, as a percentage. Otherwise, enter the discount amount.

  • Change discount type: this button allows you to switch between the two types of discount
  1. Loyalty code: you can use the promo code (loyalty code) instead of an overall discount. If so, open the Loyalty Account box on your right:
  • Loyalty code: open the box and select a loyalty code from the dedicated field. After the order is finalized, the loyalty account will be updated.
