API Siren
Introduction
The Siren API, provided by INSEE, allows you to retrieve information about a company using its SIRET number.
Axelor integrates this API and can therefore automatically collect various data, such as:
-
first and last name,
-
title,
-
type (individual or company),
-
VAT number,
-
category (if specified in AOS),
-
NAF code,
-
address.
The system distinguishes between natural persons and legal entities, ensuring appropriate management of each partner.
Access: Application config → Apps management → Base, configure → Interface → Api Siren configurations
In the previous version, users were offered several configurations (4 elements). These configurations included the “Secret code” field, “API key,” and two URL fields.
Now, the user only has to fill in two fields: Sirene URL and Sirene API Key.
