OSM Configurator

Introduction

From now on, AOS is offering new features for the OSM configurator.

Technical objectives:

  • Review the map views on AOS and simplify map integration.

  • Discontinue the use of deprecated APIs.

Functional objectives:

  • A new low-code configurator that allows you to add a new map view to the ERP.

  • Simplification when creating a new map for a pro module.

info

The map configurator is compatible with the mobile application (AOM).

Configurations

Access: Application config → General data → Map configurators

In the configurations, enter the essential information. It is also possible to add groups and define roles. Next, you must define the groups of points to be displayed on the map.

Group of points: you must configure the group of points (below you will find the configuration of a group of points).

  1. Name: the name associated with this point group. This name will be used in the legend on the map.

  2. Model: select the model to be used. For example, “Partner” (i.e third party).

  3. Address field: the address field allows you to position the point on the map.

  4. Form view to use: select which form will open when the user double-clicks on a point. For example, partner-customer-form (partner and customer form).

  5. Marker color: the selected color will be associated with this group.

  6. Filter (JPQL): enter a JPQL rule here to filter the elements linked to this group.

  7. Card content: write a Groovy expression that will be used to define the content of the pop-ups on a map.

info

In the map view, you can always click on the different groups; you can also view the pop-up windows with the content by clicking on a group.

In addition, if you have associated a form view, double-clicking on the icon at the bottom right of the pop-up window will open the form.

Pop-up windows that contain an icon at the bottom right corner are associated with a form view; when a pop-up window does not contain a form view, the icon is absent.

  1. Square icon: once on the map, click on the square icon. Here, you can check or uncheck the point groups on the map. When unchecked, the group will be invisible on the map.
