SlickText

With modules in {{Make}}, you can:

To get started with SlickText, create an account at slicktext.com.

Connect SlickText to {{Make}}

To connect to

  1. Log in to your SlickText account.

  2. Click Your Profile Icon > Integrations > API > Generate keys.

  3. Copy the Public and Private keys to a safe place.

  4. Log in to your {{Make}} account, insert a SlickText module in your scenario, and click the Add button next to the Connection field.

  5. Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.

  6. In the Public Key  and Secret Key fields, enter the keys copied in Step 3 and click Save.

You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your scenario and add more SlickText modules. If your connection needs reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.

Send a Message to a Contact

Sends a message to a specified contact.

Send a Message to a Textword List

Sends a message to all contacts who subscribed to a specified textword. Allows to create and opt-in a new contact along with message sending.

Opts a new contact into a specific textword list using a specified opt-in action. SlicText holds a zero-tolerance policy for sending unsolicited text messages.
