You need to have an Amazon Web Services account and a running Redshift cluster configured for public access from the Internet. If you don't have an AWS account, you can create it here: https://aws.amazon.com/console. If you don't have a running cluster, you can look at the guides provided by Amazon, here: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/redshift/latest/gsg/rs-gsg-launch-sample-cluster.html.
Don't forget to enable access for your cluster from the Internet so, {{Make}} can actually receive access.
To connect your Amazon Redshift cluster to {{Make}}, follow the general instructions for Connecting to services.
You will be prompted to enter the following:
host: your cluster URL, which you get in your AWS Console
port: port on which your database is running, default is 5439
user
password
database
After you have filled all required fields you can click '{{Make}} will try to establish a connection to your database. If it succeeds, the dialog will close and you will be able to continue setting up your module.
'.{{Make}} will make connections to your database from specific IP addresses. Our servers are set up with valid PTR records so you can easily restrict access by allowing %.make.com
.
