General features & Configuration
General Features
Several general features are available to the user. For example:

Translation management with the ability to edit translations directly from the ERP;

Access to change tracking and comments;
-
Field management in the Studio ;
-
Printing management.
Compatible with Zebra Android scanners (MC9300, MC3300, etc.).
Installation & configuration
Access: Application config → Apps management → Axelor mobile app settings
The installation and configuration of options from Axelor mobile app settings is necessary in order for the modules in the mobile application to function.
Open Axelor Mobile app settings.

Mobile apps: this is where applications are activated. The associated web module must be installed in order to activate an application. For example, to activate the Stock module on the mobile application, the Stock module must be installed as a web application.

Minimal required version / current Android build: definition of the minimum version of the mobile application for compatibility with the ERP, as well as the latest compatible APK to allow the user to easily download it from the mobile application during updates.

General: these are the general configurations of the application (generate barcode / view tracebacks / view web views).

General / Stock / HR / Sales / Project / DMS: these are specific configurations, specific to each module.

Application configuration: management of permissions and menus
Permissions & menus
Access: Application config → Apps management → Axelor mobile app settings → App configuration
In the “Application configuration” section, click on the application you want to configure. A pop-up window will open:

Authorized roles: this limits access to the app to the selected roles. By default, all users have access to the app if nothing has been specified.

Customize menus: enable menu customization.

Select all menus: this button adds all the mobile app menus linked to the parent application, stock in the example, to the list.

Send navigation information: click this button to send menus and screens to the ERP. This step is mandatory to customize the menus. The button is located in the mobile application settings (User profile → click the gear button to open the Settings page).

Config menus / active menus: menu configuration (order, access, and permissions). By default, all users with access to the parent application have access to menus for which no role is specified. To remove a menu from the application, simply delete it from the list.
Home screen / General tab
Access: Application settings → Application management → Axelor mobile app settings → you will automatically be taken to the home page → click on the General tab

Shortcut display: select the shortcut display (Grid or Line).

Shortcut management: in this table, add a shortcut to define the shortcuts to be displayed on the home screen.

Dashboard: in this table, add a dashboard to define the dashboards to be displayed on the home screen.
Translations
Customize translations in the web application.
Access: Application settings → Application management → Axelor mobile app settings → on the home page, in the General section, click on “Customize translations”
Sending translations requires administrator intervention.

Customize translations: click on this button to access the translations sent from the mobile application in order to modify them. This will allow you to display the synchronized translations on the application and have default translations for any missing translations.

Send translations: in the mobile app, click on User Profile → click on the Gear icon → on the Settings page, click on “Send translations”
Dashboards
Access the dashboards from the “General” section on the home page.
Access: Application settings → Application management → Axelor mobile app settings → in the “General” section on the right, click on the “View dashboards” button

View graphs: once you have clicked on the “View dashboards” button, you will be taken to the Dashboards list. Here, click on the “View graphs” button at the top of the page. A new window with a list of existing graphs will open.

Dashboard: open an existing dashboard or create a new one. You will find the following information there:

Application: select the parent application.

Custom menu entry: check this box if you want to customize the associated menu entry. Checking this box will display the following fields: “Menu title,” “Icon name,” “Menu order,” and “Authorized roles.” Authorized roles allow you to restrict access to the dashboard to selected roles. By default, all users have access to the menu if nothing has been entered.
- Dashboard row list: if you click on a graph in the dashboard row list, you will be able to access the following information:

Name: find the graph title here;

Graph type: graph type during customization;

Query: data retrieval with a custom query or with an AOP graph.
Custom web views
Access: Application configuration → Application management → Axelor mobile app settings → in the “General” section on the right, click on the “View web views” button
- Web view: open an existing web view or create a new one. You will find the following information there:

Application: select the parent application.

Menu title / Icon name / Menu order: customize the associated menu entry.

Authorized roles: limit access to selected roles. By default, all users have access to the menu if nothing has been specified.

Action: here, configure the URL or AOS view to display. Please note that AOS views are only supported if they have no context.

Creating a session

Click +.

Create a session: enter a URL (for your web application), username, and password.

Check the box if this is a default session.
You can always modify or delete a session by clicking on the corresponding icon.
Test environment
When you are in a test environment (i.e., the application is in “dev” mode), you will see a Test environment indicator. The “Test environment” banner will be located below the user profile.
Application settings
User profile: to access the settings, click on the gear icon.
On the Settings page, you can adjust the following settings:

Language: select the user's primary language.

Theme: select the application theme.
-
Virtual keyboard visibility: always / hidden on scannable fields / never. Here, you can define whether to display the virtual keyboard on text inputs.

Color blind mode: enable this option to apply the theme designed for color blind users.

Display module subtitles: enable this option if you want to display module subtitles.

Enable quick tools: quick actions are accessible at any time in the application, depending on the view configuration, and can be moved freely on the screen.
The following actions are only available to administrators:

Send translations: option to send translations to the ERP for modification.

Send navigation information: allows navigation information to be sent to the ERP (screens and menus to add permissions or create shortcuts on the home screen).
Studio fields
Introduction
The mobile application has a generic system that allows access to Studio fields linked to an object.

The display is in the form of a form.
-
By default, Studio fields are not visible: it is necessary to configure, via the web application, the fields that need to be accessible from the mobile application.

All field types created with Studio are supported, and the defined display conditions are also respected.
-
It is possible to integrate a specific model (model attrs) on a specific screen.
Remember to enable the option that will allow you to display it in the mobile app.

On a Studio field, go to the “Options” section.

Visible in mobile application: enable the “Visible in mobile application ” option.
Accessing the Studio view
You can access the Studio view from the product record. For example:

Open the Product record (access: Stock → Product → click on a Product record).

Three-dot icon: in the top right corner, click on the icon and select “Studio fields” to open the Studio view.

Studio Fields: the Studio fields will then open. You will be able to view the Many-to-one / String / Decimal fields. You can also open edit mode.

Edit mode: when you are on the “Studio Fields” page, click on the pencil icon at the bottom right to open edit mode.

In edit mode, you can edit the fields. You can also click on three buttons:

The disk icon: save changes.

The eraser icon: undo changes.

The exit icon: exit edit mode.
