Business project Batch

Access: Application config → Batches → Business project batches → General project reporting / Compute project totals

Before running the batch, ensure that the ‘Calculate project’ batch has already been run. Most of the values used by this batch depend on it.

Compute project totals batch: use a batch to calculate costs. The batch will pre-fill the costs for all upstream lines.

General project reporting batch: you can then run a separate batch for your reports.

  1. Period: the period for which the batch will generate the report; all values are calculated for this period only.

  2. Projects:

  • These are the projects that will be taken into account for the generation of the report; it will also generate reports on the project tasks.

  • The generated report will take into account all tasks and related items from the sub-projects of the selected projects.

  • For tasks, reports will only be generated if the ‘Allocated’ box is checked on the task.

  • During generation, the existing report for the same period and project will be deleted and a new report will be generated.

  • It can be generated at any time, but to obtain correct values, all subsequent period reports must also be generated.

  • The results will depend on the period, so ensure that the period is selected correctly.
